What these features help you do

Six modules, and the job each one takes off your plate.

The Oracle

  • Give a character a dossier: role, age, era, pronouns
  • Record what a character wants and what they fear, so their choices stay motivated
  • Drag relations into a family tree, partners and secret children included
  • Generate portraits from a saved style, so a character looks the same every time
  • See which chapters a character appears in, and at what word count
  • Search a large cast by role instead of scrolling a list
Inside The Oracle

The Architect

  • Draw a map from a written description, then name the regions and cities
  • Sculpt terrain by hand with raise, lower, smooth and erode brushes
  • Drag towers, fortresses and ruins onto the map where you want them
  • Write down the rules your magic system has to follow, and keep them in one place
  • Track a faction's history era by era on its own timeline
  • Find a location you invented months ago in a single search
Inside The Architect

The Blueprint

  • Lay scene cards, plot points and cast on one canvas
  • Label the links between them: discovers, leads to, meets
  • Mark the turning points, the midpoint and the all-hope-is-lost beat
  • Give each scene its synopsis, cast and setting, chosen from characters you already made
  • Replay the same scenes as a day-by-day timeline
  • Run competing structures on separate boards, keep the one that holds
Inside The Blueprint

The Alchemist

  • Select a flat paragraph and ask for a tighter line
  • Read the original and the rewrite side by side
  • Compare a rewrite that leans on sensory detail against one that leans on action
  • See the reason each change was made, in one line
  • Apply only what you accept, nothing edits itself in place
  • Connect your own AI key, so the AI company bills you directly and never us
Inside The Alchemist

Manuscript Zen

  • Write in chapters and sub-chapters with a searchable table of contents
  • Fade the line you just typed with Vanishing Mode
  • Hide the rest of the app in Zen Mode
  • Keep the active line centred with typewriter scrolling
  • Speed up a revision pass with Bionic Reading, which bolds the start of each word
  • Watch words, sentences, paragraphs and reading time as you go
Inside Manuscript Zen

The Spark

  • Drop notes, images, audio, video and links on one board
  • Sketch straight onto the canvas with pen, fill and eraser
  • Open any link in the built-in browser without leaving the draft
  • Tag and label items so a board stays findable months later
  • Type / to embed a whole board inside a character's bio
  • Keep the material that is not prose yet out of the manuscript

Before you pay

How do I receive my license key after purchase?
The key is emailed to you within a few minutes of payment. Install NovelOS, paste the key into the activation screen once, and it is stored on your device. There is no account to create.
What payment methods do you accept?
Checkout runs on Polar, which accepts major credit and debit cards and common digital wallets. Card details go to Polar, never to us.
Can I use my license on multiple devices?
Yes. One licence covers the computers you personally use on Windows and macOS, plus the mobile app on iOS and Android. It is tied to you, not to a single machine.
Why is the First Edition limited to 2,500 copies?
NovelOS is built and supported by one person. Capping the first run keeps support manageable at this price while the product is young. The 30-day refund applies either way, so there is no reason to rush.
Do I really own the software permanently?
Yes. You buy a lifetime licence to the software, it installs on your own machine, and it keeps working whether or not you ever hear from us again. There is nothing to renew.
What happens when the 2,500 copies are gone?
The direct lifetime sale closes. Later editions are expected to cost more than the First Edition price. Anything you have already bought stays yours on the same terms.
Is my data private?
Your manuscript, characters and world notes are written to a folder you choose on your own disk. There is no account, no cloud sync and no usage tracking. Pull the network cable and NovelOS keeps working.
How does the AI work? Do I need a subscription?
No subscription, and no AI fee to us. NovelOS runs no AI server of its own, so you connect your own provider API key. The provider bills you directly at their rates and we never mark it up, because the money never passes through us. The studio is complete without any AI configured.
Are there any hidden costs after the one-time payment?
None from us. The payment covers the software for life. The only possible extra is your own AI provider's usage, billed by them, and only if you switch the optional AI features on.
Does NovelOS work offline?
Yes. Writing, plotting, world building, tracking and export all work with no connection. Only the optional AI actions need the internet, and only at the moment you trigger one.
What if I have issues with my purchase or license key?
Email [email protected] with your order reference and we will sort out any licensing or payment problem.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 30 days, for any reason. Email support and it gets processed. No form, no questions, no follow-up.

$45 once. Refunded in full for 30 days.

2,268 of 2,500 First Edition licences are available. Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, no account required.
